

Morning Sweetness: Monkey Bread
There is nothing better first thing in the morning than a warm, super-sweet carb overload. This one has a really weird name, but trust me, you will want it in your recipe book. It's not hard at all to make, and will get you rave reviews at the church potluck!
PREP/TOTAL TIME: 15 min/1 hour
Cake Ingredients
4 cans buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
Sauce Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions
1. For cake, combine sugars and cinnamon in a one gallon plastic baggie.
2. Tear biscuits into quarters and add 10-12 pieces at a time to the bag and shake to coat.
3. Place in a greased bunt pan.
4. For the sauce, melt butter and sugars in a small saucepan.
5. Cook until thick.
6. Pour over biscuits and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
